Skeletons & the Empty Pockets are a five piece band from Rotherham formed in 2007. Having been around since 1999 (formally Fierce Panda-signed ThisGIRL), the band are well renowned for their energetic and powerful live performances. Having been around since 1999 (formally Fierce Panda-signed ThisGIRL), the band are well renowned for their energetic and powerful live performances. In 2008 "Skeleton's" headlined the BBC Introducing stage at the prestigious Reading and Leeds Festivals. In 2009 'Oh Brother!' and 'In the Woods' was Skeletons and the Empty Pockets' debut double A side release - which sold all 500 copies before the release date through Too Pure Records.
