Soothsayers are a group of musicians playing a fusion of nu Afro-beat and dub. Noted for their blistering shows, South London collective Soothsayers have been kicking up a live storm with their organic mix of reggae, afro-beat, funk and urban jazz for over 10 years. Their debut Lost City drew on jazz and African music while their acclaimed follow-up Tangled Roots channeled funk and hip-hop alongside afro-beat and reggae. The band's line-up consists of Adesose Wallace (vocals/perussion), Idris Rahman (sax/vocals), Robin Hopcraft (trumpet/vocals), Phil Dawson (guitar), Jonny Phillips (guitar), Patrick Illingworth (drums), and Eustace Williams (bass).
