Up from the fiery bottom of New York City's Lower East Side, sexier than Satan himself, the all-female rock-outfit Bottom returns to raise hell. Bottom’s volume drenched metal is built on a foundation of riffs heavier than Hell itself, sharing kindred spirits to Helmet, Isis, Cathedral, Neurosis and Tool. Lead by three siren mosh-heads, Sina, Nila, and Clementine escaped from New York City in April 1999 after self-releasing their epic debut "Made in Voyage."
They created a new world order for DIY touring bands: by living in their van, playing 300+ shows a year, taking no prisoners, and destroying a new town every night, stopping only to record their sophomore long player for stonerrock label, Mans Ruin Records. The result, "Feels So Good When You're Gone," was a sinister tale in a glamorous Apocalypse, thick with monster riffs and killer hooks that simultaneously made your ears bleed and your doomed heart leap with joy.
Bottom’s explosive live show has devoured venues everywhere from Vancouver to Croatia, sharing stages with hundreds of rock-outfits including: AFI, Backyard Babies, MonsterMagnet, High on Fire, Nebula and the Rollins Band. Emerging from a dreamscape of feedback six feet deep, Bottom is proud to unveil their volume-addicted folktale and Small Stone debut, "you’rNext.”
